Cannot see when it is safe to cross the road

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8467790.

The crossings at the bottom of Ralph Road across to Lidl do not display the Green Man/Red Man when crossing the road, only where the button is when standing waiting to cross. Pedestrians have no idea when it is not safe to cross as there is no Green/Red light visible in the direction of those crossing the road.
