This hazard has been left unrepaired for nearly 6 months, despite being caused by reckless driving and repeatedly reported. MKCC has a legal duty under Section 41 of the Highways Act to maintain safe roads, and a duty of care to prevent foreseeable harm. Under the Human Rights Act (Articles 2 & 8), the council must protect residents from known dangers. This failure is unacceptable.
