Damaging grass verges

Reported via Android anonymously at 19:35, Mon 24 November 2025

Sent to Norfolk County Council and South Norfolk District Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8459969.

The grass verges outside number 7, Three Mile Lane, are being significantly damaged daily. This has been occurring ever since the residents graveled their driveway and began using it for parking. They have not paid for a wider dropped curb, so they are driving over the grass verge to access their driveway. This will eventually become a mud pit, which will be not only unsafe but also unsightly. This needs to be stopped as soon as possible before the damage becomes so significant that it will cost council tax payers to repair. Please act on this promptly and send a letter to number 7, suggesting they should pay for a larger dropped curb. Otherwise, the council will need to install posts to prevent this from happening.
