Subject: Request for Tree Trimming (Obstructed Street Light & Disabled Parking Sign) Dear Sir/Madam, I hope you are well. I am writing to request assistance regarding a tree on my street that now requires maintenance. 1. Obstructed street light The tree has grown to the point where it is blocking a street light, reducing visibility during the evening and early morning. This is creating safety concerns for residents and pedestrians. 2. Obstructed Disabled Parking street sign The same tree is also blocking the Disabled Parking street sign, making it difficult for drivers to see the restriction clearly. This may lead to misuse of the space and inconvenience for disabled residents who rely on it. Could the council please arrange for the tree to be trimmed to restore visibility to both the street light and the sign? I am happy to provide photographs or exact location details if needed. Thank you for your assistance. I look forward to your response. Kind regards, Fazlul Haque 170 Cromwell Road PE12EU

Thanks for your enquiry regarding a Council owned tree.

A qualified tree surveyor has assessed your request and following a site visit has recommended works. On completion of the works you may feel the task undertaken may not fully address the issue raised. Aragon Direct Services employ qualified tree surveyors to undertake the inspections and all works recommended are in accordance within the guidance contained within the Peterborough Tree & Woodland Strategy 2018-2028.

Continued management of all our trees forms an integral part of this strategy.
