A Knife found. This is SERIOUS.

As per picture and my MANY other reports - flytipping continues to be a HUGE issue and it is not being taken seriously.

The situation has suddenly gotten so much worse/more serious today. Someone had dumped a box of unwanted kitchen gear: chopping boards, Pot lids, etc. Amongst this box and strewn outside of the box in clear view, was a BLADE. A kitchen knife. See picture.

This could have gotten into anyone's hands - a child, etc. This is entirely unacceptable. The disregard of people either living in the area, or that don't live here and flytip is a serious danger to the health and wellbeing of this estate. I have, as a concerned and courteous citizen, disposed of the knife, to avoid anything dangerous happening. But that does not solve the problem: the council needs to take this issue seriously. I am more than happy to be a part of the solution and be consulted, collaborated with, etc.

Please take this seriously.

  • The conditions still exist that are promoting dumping and flytipping of items. There is no discouragement, penalty or control of this situation.
