Road gullies are blocked junction Newlands / Clipston Road / Haselbech Road

Sent to West Northamptonshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8452211.

Gulley south side and gulley opposite side on inside of bend blocked causing substantial ponding on carriageway and footway. Pedestrians risk being drenched by passing vehicles. Reported by phone on 20th November.

  • Investigation: Completed (Defect Found), Defect Repair: Not Started - Thank you for your enquiry. A qualified Highways Inspector has assessed the location and we can confirm that in accordance with the WNC Highways Inspection Manual, the defect meets the requirement for a Priority 3 repair. We will schedule a repair to be completed within 28 days.

Recent weather events have required us to reprioritise other essential works, which has unfortunately caused a knock-on delay to this activity.   • Investigation: Completed (Defect Found), Defect Repair: Work Completed - Thank you for your enquiry. Our crews attended side and cleaned and jet two of the reported gullies with one further to be complete but this is requiring a new manhole lid cover, works have been programmed for this to be complete. Whilst on site the crew dug out the mud back towards the culvert. We will continue to monitor this location.
