The Parish Council has been informed and will be in contact with the Police for insurance claim purposes.
The damage is : -
2 black and white plastic reflector posts destroyed.
1 signpost for multi purpose pathway destroyed. (Post destroyed, sign reusable).
8 wooden reflector posts uprooted / damaged / destroyed. 7 posts are probably reusable, but all will need to be re-installed.
One plastic village gate destroyed. This is made by Glasdon and is approximately 170 cm wide and will need to be replaced.
I have asked if the Parish Clerk could liaise with OCC to be kept aware of the timing of repair actions.

The silver Skoda car KY 20 LXM is still on site. (Saturday 6th December, the accident is believed to have taken place late on Friday 21st November). A number of local residents are very unhappy about this.
We know that the vehicle is taxed and insured. Isn't it the owner / keeper's responsibility to have it recoveted ?.
Is this something OCC Highways will action or should the Parish Council folliw up again with the Police ?
