  • Nearly had an accident here this morning. The pothole marked is right on the driving line, and just where the attention has to be on the narrow bit of road in front. Closer to the junction, the side of the road has disintegrated on both sides, because of cars trying to avoid each other.

  • The verges on the complete stretch of road from the A43 slip road to the new spine road have been destroyed by the traffic and lorries using it as a cut through from A5 to A43 via Silverstone village. The road was originally not used by large lorries as they could not get round the tight bend in Wood Burcote. The road was not built for the heavy traffic it now gets and two vehicles only pass with difficulty so have had to use the verges. Where the road meets the A43 sliproad the roadway is only wide enough for one vehicle but someone in there wisdom has painted a white line down the middle - only 2 bicycles could pass at the same time. the carriage way. Could we have a speed restriction on this road plus a road narrows sign.
