Tree is damaged problem

FixMyStreet ref: 8443090.

I received a letter dated 11/9/2025 ref. 11494247 regards a tree in my property overhanging the road. I am happy to carry out the remedial work on this but am conscious that to do the work the road will need closing for a short period of time. This is mind don’t have any arborists that you use that you could recommend that will also be able to take care of the highways element? Many thanks

  • This report has now been passed to the Highways team for assessment.

    If repair work is required, it will either be classed as urgent or will be put into a planned programme of works to ensure it is repaired as efficiently as possible.

    In some cases a temporary repair will be needed, to make the area safe, then engineers will return to make a permanent repair.

    An update on the issue will be provided.
