Pavement obstructed by vegetation
Reported via iOS in the Pavements/footpaths category anonymously at 10:30, Thu 20 November 2025
Sent to Liverpool City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8443068.
The footpath on Woolton Road (on the opposite side to the Black Woods, just past Rockbourne Avenue heading towards Childwall Park Avenue) is significantly obstructed by an overgrown bush/shrub that appears to be in the ownership of the bungalow at 1 Rockbourne Avenue. Compounding the problem, owing to the ground sloping down from Woolton Road, thereabouts is frequently flooded (both the pavement and adjoining grass verge) making transit problematical
Would it be possible for the local Highway Inspector to arrange for those responsible for the overgrown vegetation to take it back to their boundary and remove the obstruction.
Thank you.

As of 4th January 2026 the subject vegetation has been significantly cut back and whilst possibly not as comprehensive as possible, it has substantially reduced the access issue and accordingly I think it reasonable to close this problem as “fixed”
