Cleaning block safe route

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8442705.

This morning the subway is close for cleaning. Why is this subway shut when there are 100’s of students, staff & possibly pupils commuting to University & school?

No alternative route has been planed or suggested .

Please think about the public and when a space is in use.
