Overgrown hedges and shrubs.

Reported via desktop in the Obstruction blocking access category anonymously at 14:19, Monday 17 November 2025 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8430828.

At the fork/Junction of Gatton Road and New Gatton Road are landscaping shrubs etc which are meant to be on the Gatton Road side of the fence only. These have massively overgrown and have now created a dangerous blind spot for drivers wishing to exit Gatton Road onto New Gatton Road and I myself suffered a near miss with a Lorry heading down New Gatton Road. I suspect from experience that a few of the lorry drivers may not realise it is also a 20mph zone which includes New Gatton Road. The shrubs and bushes need to be cut back as far as the actual fence as it was originally in 2007 when built, to allow drivers a good view of any oncoming traffic from New Gatton Road and not just a little trim as was done previously a few years back when there was massive overgrowth.
