Dangerous speed hump

There are new speed humps on this road. Where there is a single file traffic priority island and a hump traffic is frequently just using the long drop kerb and going along the pavement. I think this traffic calming solution has now engineered in a risk to pedestrians as cars speed along a section of footpath.
