Pavement parking

Reported via mobile anonymously at 18:46, Sunday 16 November 2025

Sent to Oxford City Council and Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8427136.

Parking on the pavement after a post had been previously knocked down (which hasn’t been fixed/replaced). This post was put there a few years ago due to the same problem but was knocked down. This is making it difficult for wheel chair users and pushchairs to use the pathway. People are having to walk on the road to get past the cars that are parked up on the path. It is also causing damage/obstruction to local businesses outside and flat.

Council ref: ENQ251064931

The post needs to be replaced and put back on the pavement so pedestrians can use the foot path and cars not to park.
