The verge is overgrown into the Ford causing the water to be blocked

The vegetation at the edge of the ford is growing into the river not allowing the water to flow freely. The ford was severely flooded this weekend.

  • Thank you for your report. We have investigated the site following your report. Our assessment shows that while the vegetation at the edge of the ford is slightly overgrown, it has not reached a stage where it is causing a structural restriction or significantly impeding the natural flow of the river. We will continue to monitor the location as part of our routine inspections, but no immediate clearance works are required at this time.
