  • I have just driven past this pothole /crater . It now appears to be much deeper than the above photos & is highly dangerous in my view. Please action repairs urgently . Many thanks .

    Very dangerous and not easy to see or avoid, especially at night with oncoming traffic. The extent of its depth won't be visible if filled with rainwater. Not even circled yet.

  • Massive dangerous pothole that needs fixing asap. Its going to burst car tyres and cause cyclists to fall off their bikes. Very urgent!

    Walked past this huge pot hole this morning and watched a car brake sharply before swerving round it and the car behind also had to brake sharply, as did an oncoming car. Please repair as a matter of urgency, as similar to a lot of roads in the area, there is no street lighting and will be difficult to see, especially after rain and it’s filled with water.

    Caught by 'killer' pot hole this morning and caused an instant flat, veered to left and fortunally pulled over on the side of the road.

    No markings, or hazard warnings - very large and dangrous.

    Its good to see it has been marked for road re-surfacing, and posted about on facebook with a visit from a councller - though not sure why markings or prehaps a cone couldnt be installed to warn motorists - particurly with increasing dark and cold conditions.

    Is there any form of risk assessment and mitigation untill full repairs will be carried out?

    There is a more severe accident waiting to happen.
