Since the county council took over responsibility for looking after verges and other areas they have not done any maintenance on the Peachcroft estate. There are several areas where wild growth is blocking pavements. The attached photos show one area on Peachcroft Road. Up until 2014 the Vale Council cleared these areas twice a year.

Updates

  • OCC_NAD - we are currently investigating the hedges in this area to determine which are classified as highway, and therefore the responsibility of the County Council. Those that are, are being added to our list of hedge to be cut when we are able. Thank you for your patience
