The drain at the corner of Quarry Road and Richmond Dale (BS8 2UB) is blocked.

Reported via desktop in the Flooding/Gully/Drainage category by GEOFFREY FREDERICK BYRNE at 15:10, Fri 14 November 2025 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8419831.

Every time it rains a pond forms around this blocked drain causing pedestrians to walk in the road to get around it. This problem has existed since last year, and was originally reported to this web site in January this year. Somebody from the Council did come out to look at it, then closed it down as "fixed". The attached photographs taken today, the 14th of November 2025, show that the drain is still blocked, and despite what your records may say, no remedial action has ever been carried out. This matter requires urgent action.
