Road flooded - drain needs clearing

As you can see from photos, the road is flooded covering one side of the road completely on a blind corner. The drain needs clearing for it to drain away.

    The drain in unable to function properly and needs fixing properly rather than the previous hand full of times when just a temporary job has been done.

  • I am writing to urgently request an update on this matter, as the issue remains unresolved and continues to worsen.

    The current condition presents a serious and daily hazard to vehicles and motorbikes, with a high risk of accidents. The situation is now reaching a critical point, and ongoing exposure is accelerating erosion and further damage to the road surface.

    Given the increasing danger to road users, I respectfully request immediate assessment and corrective action. I would also appreciate confirmation of any scheduled repairs and an expected timeframe for resolution.

    Thank you for your prompt attention to this urgent safety concern.

  • Despite the road recently being closed for a number of days to carry out road surface repairs the opportunity to repair this drain at the same time was missed! This section of the road is frequently flooded due to this drain not working, this frequent standing surface water is what causes the surface of the road and pavement to continually deteriorate.

    What are the plans to provide a long lasting fix of this drain?
