Road flooding due to blocked drains.

Reported in the Flooding or standing water on road category by R Cockayne - Hartshill Residents Asso. at 15:54, Wed 15 June 2016 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Warwickshire County Council 1 minute later

This flooding is being caused by the pipes that link the drains being blocked. Every time we have moderate rain the whole road is being flooded by the 'Castle' and further up the road near the point marked. I have just phoned this in and got a ref No 419492 I have requested to be informed when action is taken to clear the drains.

  • Mud is being deposited on the road and pavement by the farmer exiting his fields. It is blocking the road gullies and making the existing flooding problem worse

  • Today I took my dog for a walk to the gate the farmer uses to access his fields located by the house named Soberton. The path is covered in heavy mud which will be washed down into the drains the next time it rains.
