Flooded lane

Reported via iOS in the Drainage category anonymously at 20:07, Wed 12 November 2025

Sent to Hampshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8411166.

A main pedestrian route through Chineham is always flooding. This is the route to school for a huge number of people and it is regularly flooded, often even worse than pictured. Impossible for wheelchairs and pushchairs to get through. Horrible for any children who have to walk through it and spend all day at school with wet feet. This was reported previously but the council only came to look at it during a period of dry weather. Please come and assess after rainfall and you will see how bad it is.

  • Completely flooded today and surrounding grass too churned up and muddy to walk over so we had to cross busy Hanmore Road instead, very dangerous with young children.

  • Flooding is as bad as ever, very difficult walking to school with all the rain we’ve had.

  • I see action scheduled - please do not come in this dry spell and claim it is fine like you did last year, there is clearly an issue as it floods as soon as it rains.
