Sunken manhole cover on A417 westbound towards Wantage

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8409769.

A very large manhole cover has excessively sunken on the A417 between West Hendred and Wantage. It is getting worse and worse, until eventually it will fail. The only way to avoid driving over it is to fully drive on the opposite carriageway into oncoming traffic, which is pretty dangerous at 50mph!
