Bollards to protect the water course have, over several years, been reducing in number. Recent flail cutting took out more - leaving them in the ditch. The deep ditch now has very few bollards to warn motorists. While removing litter from the ditch, we removed the fallen/broken bollards which have been left in the verge opposite St James's Road.
