Flooding

Reported via desktop in the Flooding on Road category anonymously at 09:48, Wednesday 12 November 2025

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8407708.

The low point in Chatterpie Lane sits at a confluence of three slopes. During any kind of rainfall, water drains and accumulates at the entrance to our close (No.40-48). It can be difficult to drive through and invariably leaves a mud pool making the road surface treacherous. In heavy rain it becomes completely impassable.

The reason for the ‘mini lakes’ is simply because the run off channel across the verge to allow drainage has not been maintained and is completely overgrown. This needs addressing before we get more persistent rain.
