Lights near toilets in cattle market car park are not working

Reported via mobile in the Car parks (only council run ones) category anonymously at 19:48, Tue 11 November 2025

Sent to South Oxfordshire District Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8406200.

The lights as shown in picture I have provided are not working , as a women I do not feel safe in the evenings when I have to walk through the cattle market carpark when it is so dark in this corner. It also makes it unsafe on foot too as you can not see where you are walking and can easily lead to someone tripping if they can’t see where they are going .

Updates

  • It has been reported the lights are still not working in the Cattle Market Car Park and its extremely dark walking through at night time. Please can these be fixed.

  • The flood lights in front of the old Raquets club are also not working. They sometimes Flicker on and off or don’t work at all. Please look into this urgently as it is impacting the residents at the side of Raquets as the strobe effect is seriously annoying and is sleep disruptive.

  • None of the lights in the cattle market are working still. The lack of urgency in resolving this problem is disappointing. Will it take someone coming to harm before this is remedied?
