Overgrown hedges and grass

Sent to Newport Council 3 minutes later
Overgrown hedges and grass verges are making it extremely difficult to walk sections of the A48 from Langstone to Penhow. There are many brambles and stinging nettles over growing the path.
This footpath, can no longer be called a footpath, at best it is single file, at worst it is totally impassible. When will this be fixed? I thought the council would like to encourage locals to get out and exercise, at this rate we will be forced to walk on the a48!!! I have given the council at least a month before complaining, but now it is time to act. My dog and I have had to turn back from our walk this morning as the over hanging trees, brambles, stinging nettles long grass and weeds made it totally impossible to walk. What a difference there is between footpaths further up the road in Penhow and what we have to put up with in Langstone. When will you fix the problem???????
