Please turn these lights back on

Reported via desktop in the Temporary Traffic Lights (malfunctioning) category anonymously at 14:24, Tuesday 11 November 2025 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 20 hours, 45 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 8404779.

The traffic lights at this location were turned off months ago during roadworks. The temporary lights seem to operate only during daylight hours, making the area extremely unsafe. Roadworks finished many months ago. With bus stops and houring on both sides of the road, the lack of a streetlight or a traffic light makes crossing this busy road extremely dangerous.

  • I wanted to raise as a cyclist that at this point it's difficult to see with the street lights also out at this point, and using the cycle path that goes past these temporary traffic lights. Please can some temporary solar power lights be added - this will help ensure that pedestrians/cyclists are able to be seen and see each other more easily. With thanks,
