Mostly huge quantities of organic, but also painted wood, plastics etc

  • The amount of garden waste fly-tipped here has INCREASED in the last 2 weeks. While it is mostly organic, it includes other material too, with sawdust from painted chipboard the latest addition. There is also the potential to spread invasive garden species into the Site of Interest for Nature Conservation (SINC). A letter to residents for the length of Burtons Road advising them not to fly-tip garden waste would be great as there are several locations where this is an issue. Material also regularly appears in the drainage ditch.
