    • Please give brief details of your complaint or compliment below: Please put a lid on the public bin outside 44 Church Avenue, as the rubbish starts flying into my front driveway and it is disgusting to have to pick up food waste etc. as birds peck at it or the wind blows the rubbish out when it is full or almost full. Note that the two bins at either corner of The Crescent have a lid over the bin, so why hasn’t this one? • What action (if any) would you like us to take? Put a lid on the bin.

  • Email received Thu 18/12/2025 11:20 I had received an email stating that the public bin outside 44 Church Avenue will be removed on 10th December. And since last Thursday no one has emptied the bin and it has been full since and rubbish is flying out of it.

I would like the bin removed today if possible as it is been over 5 working days since your email on 10th December. If you are unable to action it today please can you advise me when it will be actioned or whether bin is emptied as a minimum. It is absolutely disgusting and will be causing a health hazard.

I do pay my council taxes and would appreciate if you can offer a timely service.
