Traffic lights not going to green for pedestrians

Reported via mobile in the Traffic lights category anonymously at 07:10, Tue 11 November 2025

Sent to Milton Keynes Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8402001.

Crossing the road from Eaton Leys to bus stop on the other side of the road, there are two crossings with a central island. The first crossing is fine but once at the island the lights do not go green/walk/cross. This means that pedestrians have to cross whilst on wait! The bus stop is used for school buses, meaning children need to ‘chance it’ whilst on red/wait.

Updates

  • This has still not been fixed and is terribly dangerous! Children are using the crossing and are running I front of cars as they do not know when it’s safe to cross. So Done will get hit and badly hurt if this is not fixed.
