The three drains outside Loke Cottage and the three properties to the east on the north side are surcharging rain water to the middle of the road. The gullies were cleared 2 weeks ago but that is not the problem . There is clearly blocked drains in that area and they need jetting and clearing to stop this problem. It arises after relatively a small amount of rainfall . No drain clearing has ever taken place in that area to my knowledge in recent years.

10.30 am Friday 14 Novenber 2025 with the heaviest rain still to come.Clearly there is a blocked highway drain east of the 3 drains from Loke Cottage to Castle Dene. Gully cleaning has been done but that achieves nothing if the highway drain is blocked and it needs unblocking or repairing.

The gullies were cleared in October but tat is not the cause of the problem. There is a blocked drain in the vicinity of Loke Cottage /Castle done.When the gullies were cleared I was told that the drain jetting team would follow in 2 weeks.That has not happened and the drain is blocked. Can this please be properly investigated as the information sent only shows the gullies to be cleaned on the schedule.
