The wooden post and railing on the approach from the B4070 into Sheepscombe is collapsing

Reported via desktop in the Complete bollard is damaged category anonymously at 10:24, Monday 10 November 2025 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Gloucestershire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8397391.

Hi Highways, On the approach into Sheepscombe Village from the B4070 (Slatbox) the white wooden post and rail fencing is collapsing into the adjacent deep ravine.

Many of the posts are rotten and the lateral rails and dropping off.

This lane is very greasy and there is a heightened risk the fence is not strong enough to prevent vehicles going over the edge into what is a deep ravine.
