Large hedge blockkng light for many houses

Years of hedge growing without maintenance. Blocking the light, sun and heat from multiple houses.

Someone came a few weeks ago but only trimmed from the ground - they said theyd raise a further job as it would need some equipment for going high up but i havent heart anything. It needs at least 6 feet off the top to tidy up and unblock the light. No personal responsibility from the garden adjacent as its separated by a brick wall and hedge is on the road side.
