Too high lip on turning

Reported via desktop in the Roads and Carriageways category by Matthew John Shaw at 11:54, Friday 7 November 2025 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8388726.

A bump has been added to where Bevington Road meets Banbury Road. The tarmac does not appear to have been placed correctly on the kerb that runs along the bump, meaning that bicycle wheels slip or get trapped by this line of straight kerb causing spills.

Council ref: ENQ251063828

  • My front wheel has slipped on the upstand and nearly fell off my bike too.

  • I almost came off my bike today hitting this stone added to the junction. On the left side the tarmac is not level. I would say there is about a 4cm jump on the left side turning off Banbury Road. Dangerous to have on a corner that people turn into.
