Reopening ENQ251061918 as response inadequate

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8388039.

1. Only one pothole marked. If this is the only repair, it will be completely inadequate 2. For 2.5 of the last 3 years, the road has been extremely dangerous with one collapse after another, months to fix each problem after multiple reminders resulting, just for me, in a destroyed bike and multiple incidents where I could easily have killed 3. I need the inspector to sign off that that repairs now requested are expected to achieve no faults for at least 3 years that could damage a bike. 4. If not, and if I or anyone is hurt as a result, I will hold the inspector and Council leadership personally responsible. 5. I phoned last week to get a callback and discuss the matter but, as before, no call was returned.

    As predicted, many new potholes just 2 months later. Total failure. Now EXTREMELY DANGEROUS AGAIN. Needs FIXING WITHIN 7 DAYS. Reiterating, if anyone is hurt, the inspector and Council leadership will be held personally responsible.

  • I narrowly avoided serious injury today as yet another new pothole has opened up on this road which I nearly hit in the wet/dark. CRITICAL THAT THIS ROAD IS FULLY FIXED WITHIN 48 HOURS WITHOUT FAIL. You have had countless warnings. Action has been incompetent (some repairs lasting less than 2 months), resolutions dishonest, I fear someone will be injured or killed by your failures to act and if they are I will be pressing for corporate manslaughter against senior management and leadership at Oxfordshire Country. Council to be pursued.
