From the A 45 to the garden centre the road is absolutely diabolical

Reported via mobile in the Potholes / Highway Condition category anonymously at 08:40, Fri 7 November 2025 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to West Northamptonshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8387474.

There are lots of massive potholes which are causing the road to be dangerous. You cannot drive straight along the road but have to veer left and right constantly. It’s been like this for a few years but is now worse than ever. I know it’s been reported before but nothing has been done. Other roads are being sorted most of which are nowhere near as bad as this. It isn’t helped with constant large lorries leaving the tip and sewage centre. This is dangerous. Please sort as a priority.

  • If, as you say, a temporary fix has been done then it hasn’t helped. Someone needs to check the road out as a matter of urgency. IT IS NOT SAFE for drivers and cyclists. It’s one of the worst road surfaces I’ve seen in Northampton.
