Hedge blocking footpath access

On Saturday 1/11/25, due to the pathway being blocked by an overgrown hedge on the Craydon Road side of No 2 Craydon Walk, It was necessary for me to choose to detour onto, either the grass verge adjoining the footpath or onto a traffic congested main road. As I am 87 years old I chose the grass verge. It transpired that what had been a grass verge, due to rain during the day, had become very slippery mud. I slipped on this knocking my leg, causing ongoing bruising with much pain and causing aggravation to a recently healed knee operation. During the fall my clothes became saturated with thick, wet mud. It was only due to assistance from a passing couple that I was able to get up at all. Unfortunately, due to my distress, I did not get their details. I would like to thank them for escorting me to my home address. The hedge has been in this condition for some time now
