Big branches are dead and need cutting off before major accident

Reported via mobile in the Tree Requires Pruning category anonymously at 15:00, Wed 5 November 2025 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8380484.

The tree is too large & needs trimming back- branches are too low, people duck to get under them. Two major branches are dead and need taking off before they fall off and hot someone. The tree is outside 131 Beaumont Road. The roots have caused a major misalignment of the pavement. Children fall of scooters and people's pram wheels get stuck - they have to lift it over the crevice.

Don't want a repeat of Station Square in Petts wood where the tree fell down causing injury

  • The team did come out today. However they reckoned they only had a report to reduce the tree by 30%. I spoke to them as they were about to drive away. I pointed out the big dead branches. They cut one of them off but have left the one that is dead that hangs over the road. This is the one I'm worried is going to fall on a car that is parked or passing by. So only half the job is done
