Constant flooding during rain St Fagans, Castle Hill.

Reported via desktop in the Drainage category by John Griffths at 16:20, Tue 4 November 2025

Sent to Cardiff Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8376226.

At the bottom of Castle Hill there are 2 large lakes formed every time it rains. The lake opposite the flats prevents one resident, who doesn't drive, from getting out of her property. This was reported a month ago via FixMyStreet, and via the St Fagans Community Council. John Griffiths. 07939606715

Updates

  • The large 'puddle' at the bottom of Castle Hill opposite the flats is a regular feature. The drain on the other side of the road seems to work if the grill is clear. I suspect the drain is blocked under the road.
