Abiguous road markings leading to cars impeding lorry access into yard
Reported via desktop in the Road Markings - Worn/Faded category anonymously at 12:24, Mon 3 November 2025
Sent to West Northamptonshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8370024.
When the road works were completed a few months ago, some markings were reinstated however the new markings along with the faded old markings are ambiguous for road users. The result is that cars are parking right up to the "keep clear" markings which is both impeding access into the yard for larger HGVs and obstructing visibility for vehicles leaving the courtyard to turn right onto the Brackley Road. It is therefore safety issue if cars are allowed to park right up to the "Keep Clear" road markings. I would like to request a short stretch of double yellow lines to stop cars parking here.

Confusing updates from WNC: now says rescheduled but not really convinced that isn't going to change. Something is scheduled I would expect to see a date.
