Suspected highway drain breach in drainage system outside Grove House, Timsbury Bottom
Reported via mobile in the Blocked drain: Blockage inside drain category anonymously at 11:03, Mon 3 November 2025 using FixMyStreet Pro
Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8369365.
Quite a significant crack has recently appeared (worse part approximately 12 mm wide) to the external wall of our single story utility room, which is an extension to our property. In addition the double glazed utility door will now no longer open. There is also a small crack behind our boiler, further down on the same wall. We have had a structural engineer out and he advises we report the matter to BaNES Highways, since he suspects the most likely cause is associated with a nearby drainage system and that this needs further investigation. His written report can be forwarded on to you once we have it.
