This manhole/drain cover has completely collapsed leaving 3ft square hole, 3-4ft deep, no protection to prevent person falling in.

    This has previously been reported to you however there are still no "suitable and sufficient" protective barriers around it. As it has been reported to you, you are now liable under Heath & Safety law for any injuries and damage that may occur until it is fixed. The village has no street lights and a large number of dog walkers who pass this to get to the woods and the permitted footpath along side the field opposite the open void.
