Confusing and dangerous road markings

ON the approach to the roundabout crossing from A420 to A420 in both directions the markings from the previous roadworks say right hand lane to go straight on. Near the roundabout however they are burned off. Its then confusing as to which lane to be in. Go left lane then people drift across from the right and risk collision, go right and you have to drift across into the left lane where people might be coming up the inside. Either get rid of ALL the markings further back or reinstate the ones close to the roundabout. I have experienced issues using either lane because of this and I expect there have been minor shunts here already. Thanks
