The reported issue requires the footway to be excavated to allow for tree root trimming before being reinstated, these works will now be co-ordinated between our Highways and Tree Teams.

Our contractor is aware of this issue and they are in the process of arranging the necessary parking requirements to carry out the work, as on multiple occasions they have tried to and could not due to vehicles parked in the way, thank you for your patience in the meantime.

NOT FIXED. How long is this going to take? All that happened last week was that contractors turned up and cut part of the kerbstone away so that it no longer protruded into the carriageway. The tree root is still there, there is a cavity/hole in the pavement and signs are covering up that hole.
