Traffic light nearly always green

The traffic light on the corner near The Blind Beggar pub is nearly always green. It can be seen as one cycles north onto Cambridge Heath Road from Sidney Street. It is green even when east/west traffic on Whitechapel Road is moving. This has been the case ever since the junction was reconfigured to create the cycling lanes. The central traffic lights work properly, showing a green cyclist image when it is time to cycle across Whitechapel Road.
