The pedestrian crossing is on the Library side of the crossroads between Falcondale Road and Canford Lane. The surface of this island is in poor repair with damaged paving slabs. One slab in particular is loose. It tilted when stepped on, causing an accident. It looks like this unsafe surface has already been reported as there is white paint on some areas. However this is not visible if it is raining heavily after dark - which is not unusual at this time of year.
