Incorrectly placed stop lines
Reported via mobile in the Road Marking category anonymously at 12:05, Sat 25 October 2025
Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8337537.
The major road at this junction has stop lines painted across the exits in front of the repeater traffic lights. This means that, according to the strict interpretation of the rules, any vehicles turning into the major road from the minor road in either direction must stop until the lights circle. Most vehicles "correctly" (according to common sense) ignore these lines but I have just seen two vehicles "correctly" (according to the rules) stop and block the junction.
