Exiting and Entering Low Hall Close
Reported in the Road traffic signs category anonymously at 08:04, Wed 1 June 2016
Sent to Waltham Forest Borough Council 1 minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 833104.
This Close has 12 houses and has two cars per house, now there is a fast main road that we have to merge onto or cut across to enter the close.(Sewardstone Road) Now this is almost impossible during the rush hour, which start at 7.30am to 10.30/11.00am then again 15.30 to 19.30 everyday. Please can we have a Give way sign and a yellow hush box. so that we can at last get in and out of our road without a near accident every time, bearing in mind that the vast majority of the residents in this close are senior citizens. Many thanks for your understanding and I look forward to your reply and hopefully action in this matter.

Well. We still have to struggle to get in and out of our street, as the cars on the main road do not know that there is a small merging road. therefore they stop across our street and we have to wait for ages to get in or out, it is very frustrating to say the least.

I have just come back from vacation, and I am so disappointed that nothing has been done!! it just goes to show that all of this is a waste of time!!!

Dear Sir/Madam, At the moment I still have not seen any change to the exit/enter to our road, it is getting increasingly difficult because of the weight of traffic. Where our street is occupied by mainly senior citizens who drive, looking both ways and trying to merge into the oncoming traffic is indeed a huge challenge, having a hush box/ give way sign would help greatly.

Sill nothing has been done, I suppose it will not be done until an accident occurs and somebody gets seriously Injured before anything is done. It's a shame.
