Temporary repair to zip wire seat
Reported via iOS in the Playground Repairs category anonymously at 11:40, Wednesday 22 October 2025
Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8325801.
Following reports from the public, including a child falling and breaking her wrist, FOCRG inspected this ourselves. According to playground users, the damage has been there for two weeks. We have trimmed the flapping bits of plastic off. The seat is still bolted firmly and children are still using it. However we are concerned that regular safety inspections of playground equipment seem to be less frequent now and repairs are taking longer to be done.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We have made contact with the child's guardian. Our operative has been to monitor the zip wire seat which is now a low risk. We will continue to monitor this going forward.
