This has been passed to the Highway Officer to assess, they will carry out an inspection within the next 10 working days.
If a replacement is required, we will order the new street name plate and instruct our contractors to carry out the work, it is not economically viable for us to order and replace individual street name plates in isolation, we package togethers works orders and carry out the work by area this means that in some cases works can take up to 12 weeks, but please be assured once you have reported an issue with a street name plate we will attend and resolve as soon as we can.
There may also be occasions when the issue reported will not be repaired as it has been classified as a minor defect and does not pose any risk to either the safety or the integrity of the highway, these are called minimum recording levels as specified in our Highways Safety Inspection Policy in these cases no action will be taken.
The process for naming a new street remains unchanged, requests from developers should be to email streetnaming@buckinghamshire.gov.uk.

An order has been raised to repair the issue reported, this will be a permanent repair to be carried out as soon as possible. However, there are occasions when a temporary repair is carried out for safety reasons until such time as we can mobilise resources to make the repair permanent.
To ensure the highway network remains as safe as possible we will continue to carry out our regular Highways Safety Inspections which will include this issue until such times as the permanent repair is made
